Things are OK around here for the most part.

I haven't been scrapping much lately. I take the kids to McDonalds every so often and work on a page there, but little Miss Alex gets fussy and cranky, doesn't sleep very well in the loud play area, so I often just end up sitting in the comfy chairs trying to nurse her... assuming I can GET a comfy chair, and assuming she will nurse.
Speaking of nursing, we're up to 8 months! I'll probably put my ticker up. I'm AMAZED we've made it this far! We're doing good.
We went to the Nugget tonight for dinner, it's a local supermarket, and they have REALLY good sandwiches. We go about every other week. It's good to get out once in awhile. I have cooked three times this week. Jerry is definitely the better cook of the two of us, so I prefer that he cook. But of course, he can't always cook, so I've been doing a lot of looking on allrecipes.com to find new things to cook, so I'm not ALWAYS doing microwave lasagna and raviolis (lol) or broccoli and rice, which we love, but who wants to have that every week? I discovered a new recipe the other night, called Pineapple Rice and Shrimp bake (I think that was the title) and it was really good, so I'll make that again. I also got a new recipe from Kraft called tator tot casserole, which is REALLY simple, but oh, so tasty. Sydni hates that I make it so much, but Jerry and I are not nearly sick of it, so I'm making it about every other week. She went to visit Jane from Tuesday to tonight, so I made tator tot casserole last night while she was gone so she didn't have to eat it. Sometimes, she's the ONLY dissenter to what we've cooked, and I just wish she'd get along! Tator tot casserole is GOOD stuff. She says she's sick of casseroles. Though she, with my help, made a really good tuna noodle casserole last week. It was fun, the first time either of us made our own cheese sauce, lol. It was definitely a learning experience, a good one.

Well, I am sure I could ramble on for quite awhile, but I am seriously tired. I should go to bed, but I probably won't be able to. I was going to take the kids to McDonald's tomorrow, but they were behaving quite badly at bedtime, and lost the priviledge. I was rather looking forward to it myself. I'm glad it's almost the end of the month, glad the weekend is here. I hope next month works out ok for us.
