These are from Bec's birthday. She made her own cake, and it was in the fridge for a couple of days, since she made it Friday night, and we didn't eat it til Monday. Here it is on Monday on the pantry shelf. It was put there because Sammi kept wanting to dig her fingers in the oh so yummy thick frosting and eat it. You can see where she's put a pretty big hole into the side of the cake. She was really making Becca mad with that.
I won't relate the story of the candles on the cake... we finally managed to sing her happy birthday, and had cake and ice cream. It was yummy.

Later on that night, Shabree was reading to me from a baby book we got for free when Alex was born. It's a cute book. Shabree is doing really well in school, her teacher is very happy with her. Sydni is doing slightly better, we got a new scrip for her Ritalin today, which seems to be helping her immensely, so we're pretty happy about that. Not sure about Bec though. Looks like we'll be home schooling her. Syd and Shabree really want to be home schooled. Could be fun, could be a nightmare. I think if we do it, the tv has to be gone...except maybe for math DVDs.

I went to Open House on Thursday with Shabree, had Alex with me as well. Sammi was with her daddy, and Bec and Syd were at their Job's Daughter's meeting, which actually didn't meet, so they ended up going to Denny's for french fries. Jerry got Alex and Sammi a fisher price gym at Goodwill for 2 dollars and they are LOVING that gym. Oh my goodness. 2 dollars well spent. The guy who rang him up even gave him batteries for it, so even better. I need to spend more time at Goodwill. I am willing to bet I could come up with some really good, cheap toys for birthdays and next Christmas if I did that. I just can never go there without the girls, and then it's gimme, gimme, gimme. Sigh. The last time I went to Goodwill though, I scored Shabree a new bike for 9.50 and the lady behind me in line gave me a 5 dollar off coupon from the Penny Saver... need more of those, for sure. Mostly what we got that trip though, were clothes. Becca needed pants, Syd needed pants. Shabree didn't need anything, but got it anyway.

I'm going to wrap up and go to bed already. It's gotten very late on me.

  1. HEY THERE WAS ANOTHER $5 COUPON IN THE PENNY SAVER AGAIN THIS WEEK. I'LL CHECK FOR AN EXPIRATION DATE AND SAVE IT FOR YOU IF YOU LIKE. I WAS THINKING OF GOING MYSELF. I LIKE THEIR ASSORTMENT OF JEANS EVEN THOUGH IT TAKES AGES TO GO THROUGH IT BECAUSE THEY DON'T ORGANIZE THE JEANS RACKS..
