Alex and I danced today. The middle picture is her being twirled around.
Alex is always grinning at me. Girl has a sense of humor, and she's very easy to get along with. She's still crawling, but pulling herself up on the furniture, and when Sammi plays with her, you can see it in her eyes and her trying to get up... she WANTS to walk, so bad. But she's very wobbly, and I am not sure if I want to push her or not. I can't decide. Dad and mom both say crawling is VERY important to their development, and I believe it. The whole cross pattern crawling thing builds synapses in the brain. Some things, you just gotta let them do on their own.
Becca still has a chance to go on to 8th grade, but she lied to us about her homework. When I asked her if she lied, she said "Technically, no." Oh LORD. We took away her radio, her MP3 player, her Twilight DVD and her make up. I had taken her Twilight book, but I gave it back. She is grounded from the tv (which is unplugged currently) and the computer. So she's got a bunch of homework to do this weekend, and we were supposed to turn in a form by Friday to get her into Summer school, but Jerry forgot it, so hopefully we can turn it in Monday and it'll be all right.
Everyone else is good, not much to report. Oh... Alex had her eye doctor appointment, she was looking at him so intently that her eye stayed still and he couldn't see it. After sitting around for an hour and a half, and then seeing him for 10 minutes, we were rescheduled...so nearly 4 months after I saw OUR doctor about it, I still don't have a clue as to what's going on with her eye, and I'm none too happy about it. It's entirely too frustrating for words.
I guess that's all... if I think of anything else, I'll try to post it. It's just mostly been same old same old around here.
