Shabree has been learning about bats in school, and that was one thing she "showed off" at Open House.
We ended up skipping going to Lodi tonight because Renee had to work and couldn't meet up with us. Sammi had speech therapy, so I didn't mind. I had THOUGHT we set up the speech therapy for 5, but she showed up at 4, and I don't know if that's the time we set and I forgot, or if she just came an hour early. It didn't really matter, I was just trying to get the house looking nicer for her, and it was okay. Fortunately, we'd already been working for 20 minutes or so on it, and it looked much better already. Sammi LOVES speech, because she spends the entire time playing. Everyone was getting into it, even Alex.
I'm thinking about starting a Scrapper for Hire business, which I think would be fun. I've got to put together some really nice layouts though that I can take pictures of and put online for my portfolio. I was looking through all my albums last night, and some of the nicer ones just have things that came from swaps on them. They have things I made, but also swap items, and so I need to make pages that are my creation alone. So I am going to make some pages for myself, and I am going to make some pages for a woman I know online, so that I can use her testimonial in my business. I am going to charge her the cost of materials only. And she's going to give me Disney pictures, so that'll be perfect. I am just not sure how much to charge. I am seeing rates anywhere from 15/page to 35 dollars/page. PER PAGE. Books are around 350-385.
I am going to have to get myself to bed, so will post this.

  1. sounds like a good idea, why not get paid for something you like doing. I got paid $260 for that 60 page album I did for my dads best friends mom's 80th birthday. The only crummy thing about is that I only had two weeks to do it in... So I was scrapping on all my spare time, and with a full time job it's not that much spare time... Well good luck with this..
